What the youngsters had to say

In this section, we display our analysis of WHAT the images and narratives of the future produced by the young participants were about. It is separated into two parts : Themes and Tensions.

Thematics

Themes categorize the content, the topics that mattered to youngsters. We identified 10 main Themes that featured prominently our 54 projects. For each Theme, you will find our analysis of what we found in the projects, along with a selection of projects that are particularly relevant to it.

Tensions

Tensions focus on the differences between the various images and narratives of the future produced by the young partcipants. We identified polar differences in vision and outlook on 6 key issues. We then located the projects somewhere between the poles, according to what the youngsters developed in their narratives.
