A large proportion of the WTFutures projects are, at least in part, driven by the will to influence policy-making. Some are linked to or initiated by institutions at different levels (local, regional, international…). Others position themselves as a grass-root movement addressing political institutions or processes and demanding change. Through consultations, partnerships, imagination sessions, advocacy platforms, and campaigns, these projects integrate youths’ voices and tools to rethink policymaking, democratic innovations, and climate governance. They also point to a shifting political landscape where youths’ voices and their actions are increasingly valued – at least in words.
