Le Théâtre des Négociations is the name given to an experiment that took place in 2015 in Nanterre, in the western suburbs of Paris. 200 international students were reunited for three days and one night to negotiate on the climate issues on the same model as the Conference of the parties. The major difference is that they did not just embody the usual United Nations delegations, but integrated new ones such as oceans, soil, youth, internet and so on.
After more than 50 hours of discussions, after creating new forms of international work, they wrote a 30 pages-long text containing their consensual visions of the future, and common solutions that delegations committed to apply.
